Cy7.5 is a near-infrared fluorescent cyanine dye with an emission wavelength greater than 800nm, which falls precisely within the near-infrared window I region of biological tissues. This region is characterized by low background fluorescence from biological tissues and strong penetration of long wavelengths, making Cy7.5-labeled probes commonly used for in vivo imaging in small animals. Cy7.5 exhibits a high extinction coefficient, bright fluorescence, and insensitivity to pH. Cy7.5 derivatives can be covalently linked to biomolecules such as proteins, antibodies, and peptides via reactive functional groups (e.g., NHS esters, maleimides) and are widely applied in fields such as fluorescent immunoblotting, flow cytometry, drug tracking, and deep-tissue imaging[1-4].
