25-hydroxy Vitamin D3 3,3'-aminopropyl ether is an analog of vitamin D3 .1 It contains a highly reactive amine group that can be coupled to a sepharose matrix for affinity purification of vitamin D binding protein. 25-hydroxy Vitamin D3 3,3'-aminopropyl ether also inhibits 25-hydroxy vitamin D3-1α-hydroxylase.
