Ac-Lys-NHMe is a small molecule model compound often used in peptide chemistry and biochemical research [1]. Ac-Lys-NHMe can be used as a reaction substrate to test the antibody cross-linking reaction caused by luminescent dyes with active groups[2]. Ac-Lys-NHMe can be used as a model molecule to study peptide chain folding, hydrogen bonds and secondary structures (such as β-angles and α-helices) [3].
