Abz-Ala-Phe-Arg-Phe-Ser-Gln-EDDnp is the synthetic substrate of human kallikrein 6 (KLK6), with kcat/Km = 38667s⁻¹mM⁻¹[1]. Abz-Ala-Phe-Arg-Phe-Ser-Gln-EDDnp is widely used as an internal quenching peptide, and after incubation with KLK6, the hydrolysis reaction can be monitored at the excitation wavelength of 320nm and the emission wavelength of 420nm[2].
