sGnRH-A is a salmon gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogue. sGnRH-A stimulates growth hormone secretion. sGnRH-A also can be used as an inducer of ovulation by artificial insemination[1][2].
sGnRH-A (0.1 nM-1 μM, 24 h) dose-dependently increased GH mRNA levels and stimulated GH secretion [1].
sGnRH-A (10 nM, 6 h) induced an increase in growth hormone levels, nearly 5 times higher than the control group [1].
