[D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 is an antagonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor 1a (GHS-R1a; Ki = 4.25 nM).1 It inhibits ghrelin-induced cAMP accumulation in human aortic smooth muscle cells when used at a concentration of 20 nM. [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 (12 mg/kg) decreases food intake in Zucker FA/FA lean and fa/fa obese rats.2
