BPN-01 is a fluorescent probe for cancer cells.1 BPN-01 displays an emission maximum of 500 nm upon excitation at 475 nm. It selectively accumulates in DU145 prostate cancer and B16/F10 murine melanoma cells over C2C12 mouse skeletal muscle myoblasts. In vivo, BPN-01 selectively accumulates in tumor tissue over the kidney and liver in an RM-1 prostate cancer mouse xenograft model.
