BODIPY 480/508-cholesteryl oleate is a cell-permeable and fluorescently tagged derivative of cholesteryl oleate . BODIPY 480/508-cholesteryl oleate displays excitation/emission maxima of 480/508 nm, respectively, and has been used to monitor cholesterol trafficking in HeLa cells.[1]
