Aprindine is an arrthmia inhibitor that stabilizes the cell membranes of heart muscle cells, thereby preventing abnormal electrical impulses from causing irregular heartbeats. In hematological toxicity studies, aprindine showed potential inhibitory effects on the replicative capacity of mouse and human blood cells at certain concentrations.
