Apcin-A, an Apcin derivative, is an anaphase-promoting complex (APC) inhibitor. Apcin-A interacts strongly with Cdc20, and inhibits the ubiquitination of Cdc20 substrates. Apcin-A can be used to synthesize the PROTAC CP5V [1].
