Adipokinetic Hormone (AKH) (24-32), locust is a peptide hormone isolated from locusts.
Adipokinetic Hormone (AKH) function is pleiotropic, generally involved in energy metabolism. Adipokinetic Hormone (AKH) increases drosophila mortality elicited by entomopathogenic nematodes and affects drosophila locomotion[1].
