Acridine Orange 10-Nonyl Bromide (Nonylacridine orange) is a mitochondria-targeting fluorescent probe (excitation wavelength: 489nm; emission wavelength: 525nm). When Acridine Orange 10-Nonyl Bromide interacts with cardiolipin, the excitation and emission wavelengths of the dye shift to 450nm and 640nm, respectively. Acridine Orange 10-Nonyl Bromide can be used in related studies such as mitochondrial morphology and localization, quantitative detection of cardiolipin, monitoring of cell apoptosis, and analysis of multidrug resistance[1-4].
