(±)-Methadone-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of methadone by GC- or LC-MS. (±)-Methadone is categorized as an opioid.[1] It has analgesic activity.[2] Formulations containing (±)-methadone have been used in the treatment of opioid addiction. (±)-Methadone-d3 is regulated as a Schedule II compound in the United States. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
