1-Palmitoyl-d9-2-palmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-PG is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-PG by GC- or LC-MS. 1,2-DPPG is a phospholipid containing the long-chain (16:0) palmitic acid inserted at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions. It can be used in the generation of micelles, liposomes, and other types of artificial membranes.1,2
