1-Palmitoleoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-PC is a lysophospholipid. It increases cAMP production in human pancreatic β cells, an effect that can be blocked by the GPR55 antagonist CID-16020046 or the GPR119 antagonist C8.[1] 1-Palmitoleoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-PC increases glucose-stimulated insulin secretion in the same cell type, an effect that can be reduced by CID-16020046 or C8.
