1,2-Dipalmitoyl-rac-glycero-3-PG (1,2-DPPG) is a phosphoglycerol that contains palmitic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions. It has been used as a component of monolayers to study the membrane insertion ability of melittin or apocytochrome c.1
